You and your family will enjoy the true cabin getaway feeling when staying at THE NUTMEG CABIN.
This brand new cabin was just completed in November
of 2007. It was designed by my wife after a traditional Appalachian style
cabin with a Pacific Northwest flair. The small but ultra space savvy cabin
has all the comforts of a luxury cabin with a cozy upscale attitude. THE NUTMEG
is a wrapped in almost all cedar of different shapes and sizes. The wavy naturally
stained cedar siding is a trademark of PackwoodVacationRentals. The decking
is also all cedar. The logs in the front were cut from a local site and hand
peeled to get the natural look they have.

We have named this cabin the Cougar Cabin. The address post has a custom made Cougar silhouette on it. It is a brand new LUXURY cabin with no expense spared in building it. The vaulted ceiling in the great room with an antler clad ceiling fan and chandelier gives it a spacious feeling that helps you feel relaxed as soon as you enter the cabin. It has custom woodwork and furniture from local craftsmen made from Yew, Ash, Apple, and Maple wood. Relax, watch the stars, and spend time with friends and family in hot tub which sits right out the back door on the large deck.
The Gourmet Kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, full oven and gas stove, full sized refrigerator and freezer, etc. Just bring the food.
The Living Room has a Gas Fireplace
framed in rock and a Spruce Log Mantel. It is controlled by a thermostat to
keep the cabin toasty during the winter months. It has a complete entertainment
system with Stereo TV with DVD with a good collection of DVD's to choose from.
There is a phone in the cabin for free local calls. You can bring a calling
card and make long distance calls.

This is a hard to find set-up for families and
friends with 6 or more people to have fun and vacation together.
The MOOSE LODGE is a 70's style home that has been remodeled and updated with
awesome new flooring including carpets and linoleum. Super comfortable furniture
and beds. It sleeps 11 in beds and lots more room for sleeping bags on the
floor. It is a large and spacious home that is perfect for families and groups
of up to 14+ people. It can be rented daily or weekly. It is very clean and
roomy. This is a bring your own bedding and linens vacation home rental.
