VACATION PROPERTY
RENTAL AGREEMENT
We hope that you will have a great stay in our cabin.
Mt. Rainier and the beautiful surrounding area has so much to offer in the way of outdoor activities and scenery! ENJOY!
THIS CONTRACT IS FOR ALL PACKWOOD VACATION RENTAL CABINS
1. RENTAL PERIOD:
This lease shall commence at Check-In Time and shall terminate at Check-Out
Time, Unless terminated at an earlier date in accordance with the provisions
of the lease dealing with default.

2. PAYMENT:
Payment can be made by Visa or MasterCard by calling
925-708-8244
3. ADULT TENANTS:
In the rental of this
property there needs to be an adult (Over 25 years of age) staying at the
property. No teenagers should ever be left alone to stay in the cabin. The
maximum occupancy is 6 people. The maximum occupancy goes as follows:
Two Step Cabin 6 and The Cougar Cabin 4.
4. DEPOSIT:
A $200 is required and will be held as a security deposit. Security Deposits
shall serve as a security & damage deposit and for additional cleaning
and damage, if necessary, and is refundable. Additional cleaning would consist
of our cleaners having to pick up excess trash and clean unnecessary stains
on carpets and furniture. If there are issues after the cleaners inspect the
cabin, the fee will be charged to the renter’s credit card.
5. CLEANING FEE:
A one-time $60 fee to clean the cabin after the renters vacate.
6. CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT:
Directions will be e-mailed to you prior to your arrival. Check-in time is
3:00 P.M.. (PST). Check-out time is 12:00 P.M.. (PST) (Unless otherwise stated).
A keybox is provided on the exterior of the home. You will be sent the code
to the key box one week prior to your arrival. The key must be placed back
in the key box on your departure (and doors locked). If the key is missing
a $25.00 charge will be added to your credit card.
7. CANCELLATIONS:
All reservations cancelled are subject to a cancellation charge of $35.00.
For reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to scheduled arrival, no
refund will be given. No refunds will be made for early departures.
8. TELEPHONE:
A Telephone is furnished for your convenience in the cabin. All local calls
are no charge. To place Long Distance calls you must have a personal credit/charge
card or phone card.
9. PETS:
There are no Pets allowed in any of the cabins.
10. NO SMOKING:
No smoking in the cabins.
You may smoke outside and there is fire pit in the back yard or an ashtray
is provided on the front porch. If the cleaners find evidence that the cabin
has been smoked in, then a $100 extra cleaning fee will be added to the renter’s
credit card.
11. LINENS/TOWELS:
Except for the Moose Lodge Cabin, all linens and towels are provided and will
be counted before the security deposit is cleared. You will need to provide
linens and towels for the Moose Lodge Cabin.
12. TERMS OF OCCUPANCY:
The rented property is a private residence and you agree to indemnify the
owner for any damage or loss to the property or its contents that occur during
your stay. Violation of occupancy limits will result in the forfeiture of
all monies and termination of occupancy. We reserve the right to inspect the
property during your stay. Further you agree to refrain from any activity
which interferes with the neighbor’s peace and homes and at 10 PM observe
quite hours. Packwood Vacation Rentals is not liable for inoperable hot tubs
or failures of any equipment, systems, or appliances, as major repair problems
cannot be foreseen and there will be no refunds given. Renter(s) is responsible
for any damage incurred during his occupancy of the premises. We will not
be held responsible for accidents or injuries, resulting in the use of our
home, appliances, wood stove or hot tub; or loss of valuables.
13.QUITE HOURS:
Quite hours begin after 10 PM. That means that any outside activity (hot tub,
campfire, music or socializing) needs to be quite and respectful. There are
other homes close by that occupy full time residents. A violation of this
agreement could result in the termination of occupancy and forfeiture of all
monies. Thank you for respecting this rule!
